The areas around Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Cobbly Nob, Pittman Center, Wears Valley, and Bluff Mountain are all considered vacation destinations and have a wide variety of accommodations just for that purposed. Of course motels abound along the Parkway in all area, but for a true mountain experience most visitors prefer cabins or chalets.
